The remaining cards are then dealt out evenly to each player, resulting in a hand of five cards and a side pile of fifteen cards, all face down. - With hearts racing, players synchronously reveal one of the center cards on the table on the count of three.
- The race is on! Players can place cards from their hand onto either of the center piles, but the card played must be either one higher or one lower than the face-up card.
